My lived experiences as a social worker, mother, law school graduate, and university professor inform my worldview and clinical approach. I integrate social justice and trauma-informed practices to support folx in their reflection and meet them where they are with grace, dignity, and care. When helpful, I also integrate mindfulness and somatic practices to support self-regulation, self-awareness, and self-resourcing throughout our work. As an AfroDominicana born and raised in NYC to immigrant parents, I bring nuance to my work with clients by considering their identities within the context of their lives. I’m honored to do this work with you!
